Throughout the 2 week holiday my partner and I have planned to film our opening sequence of the BSR film 'Fake Identity', we choose days which we thought the weather would look dull and unappealing as it was raining. We choose these certain days because the rain represents the real and stereotypical way British weather is shown, we thought the weather we choose also represented the life of our main character Ayesha as her life is also shown to be quite miserable because she is a prostitute. The second day we filmed, it was indoors which is suppose to be Ayesha's house, we made the location look very untidy and look like they are suffering from poverty, we did this by throwing clothes on the floor and leaving boxes on the sides. We filmed indoors to shoot the scene where Faiza plays the role of Ayesha's mother praying and this scene was key to represent the religious side of the whole film, we added small details in this scene such as the religious writing on the walls and the prayer matt to present the Islamic religion.
